Pershore Midsummer Brass is an annual one day Brass Band Festival which takes place on the first Saturday in July.  

Starting at 10am with a specially commissioned Fanfare the day involves 30 brass bands performing for 12 hours in three venues. 

 
The bands come from as far afield as Southampton, the Forest of Dean and the whole of the Midlands from Staffordshire to Gloucestershire and range from training and youth bands through to top class first section and championships bands with world rankings.

For the modest sum of £10 you can listen in the calm of the gardens at The Angel or The Star, both of which are by the gentle River Avon and both have the hospitality you would expect with a full bar and food available throughout the day. 

A free programme can be heard at Chapman Court, outside Asda which often has more of a ‘fun’ atmosphere.
