Upon arrival, please make your way to the Box Office in the Main Foyer, where Kapitol Promotions staff will be able to assist you. · Adult: £15.00 · Concession: £10.00 (Senior Citizens/Students) · Discretionary child & family tickets will be available on the day VENUE The Centaur, Cheltenham Racecourse, Evesham Rd, Cheltenham GL50 4SH VENUE DIRECTIONS Road Directions Driving to Cheltenham takes approximately an hour and three-quarters from central London along the M40 and A40. Journey times from Birmingham (via exit 9 or 10 of the M5) and from Bristol (via exit 11 of the M5) should normally take fractionally less than an hour. Follow the signs to the Racecourse or pop the postcode into your sat nav – when you arrive you’ll find 12,500 free parking spaces to choose from, including ample parking for coaches onsite. Public Transport Directions Trains to Cheltenham Spa run from Paddington Station in London, generally every hour with a journey time of just over 2 hours for a direct train. Trains from New Street Station in Birmingham run approximately every half hour and take about 35 minutes to reach Cheltenham. From Bristol Temple Meads Station, trains leave every hour or so and also take about 35 minutes. Ten minutes should be allowed to reach The Centaur from Cheltenham Spa Station by taxi. VENUE ACCESSIBILITY The Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse welcomes eventgoers with disabilities and offers a range of facilities to enable them to get the most from their day. Cheltenham Racecourse aims to provide an accessible environment for all eventgoers, including the elderly, those with young children and people with disabilities. Where possible, the Racecourse is happy to make special arrangements and assist with any requirements, but these must be made in advance of the contest day. Accessible Toilets For the Sections 1-4 Finals, accessible toilet locations include inside The Centaur entrance, Istabraq bar, below the Hall of Fame, as well as the Gold Cup & Festival Restaurants entrance foyer. All toilets can be accessed using a Radar Key. For ease, we recommend that you bring a radar key with you on your visit – these can be bought online. If you do not hold a Radar Key, please ask the nearest steward who will be pleased to assist you. Assistance Dogs Assistance dogs are welcome to attend with their owners without additional charge, subject to production upon entry of a valid identification document from Assistance Dogs (UK) or an equivalent international organisation. A separate ticket is not required; however, owners should notify Kapitol Promotions in advance upon booking their event day tickets so that any necessary arrangements can be made. Hearing & Lifts There is an induction loop facility around the auditorium of The Centaur. The Centaur has a lift in the Entrance Foyer taking you into the Istabraq bar with access to the balcony and the Hall of Fame. VENUE FACILITIES Catering Facilities WINGED OX BAR AND TERRACE – A traditional bar with a full range of draught beers. The Pie Shop within Winged Ox offers a selection of great British pies and freshly made sandwiches and snacks. ISTABRAQ BAR (above Main Foyer) – Offers a full range of refreshments, including alcoholic & soft drinks as well as a selection of hot & cold food. HALL OF FAME COFFEE HOUSE – This coffee outlet offers a Nespresso coffee experience alongside a selection of freshly made sandwiches and snacks. Please kindly note that bringing your own alcoholic drink on site is strictly prohibited. Cheltenham Racecourse operates a responsible drinking policy and all staff are trained to the highest standards. Complimentary water is available at all bars. Please respect the local residents when leaving the Racecourse. No alcohol is to be taken off-site. From a seated auditorium for 2,250 to a dinner dance for 800, the Centaur’s technical team utilise the very latest in draping, lighting and AV to create bespoke events. The stage has seen a number of popular bands and comedy acts perform in front of sell-out audiences – Stereophonics, The Vamps, Lee Evans, Rizzle Kicks, Jon Richardson and Jack Dee to name a few.
